I floated the mangroves I got at one of the meetings on a piece of styrofoam. I was wondering if you can submerge them now that they have leaves or is it to late? Also, can I take the pod parts off now that they are turning black.

Dont submerge the leaves. That is how they export salt. You should rinse the leaves often with RO water.

I spray them down once in a while.

Are they Red Mangroves?
I don't spray mine down as often as I should, but apparently it helps a lot.
