No, I don't have pics.... Sorry.. But getting really excited about the sun getting higher in the sky...wish I had a video camera
days like today with just a few clouds in the sky, it is so cool to watch the light fade and then suddenly reappear in a flash. looking down from above the color and quality of light is just like when i have gone snorkeling in the carribean.
Maybe Ace can get some video of this effect at some point this summer
I'm lovin the Bionic Reef right now!

Did you go with the lighting tubes like Ace? If so, that's awesome, I must have missed that in your postings along the lines somewhere.

how much do they run ?? if you dont mind me asking

all depends on size(diameter), length of tubing required, if you install it or have it done, if you have to box out rafters, ETC.
Now, a straight run with about 8' of pipe doing it yourself could run you less than $400

mine was 16' straight without cutting any floor/ceiling joist or rafters (remember i had to go thru the 2nd floor). three 14"(13") tubes and all materials needed for $1300 shipped. mike and i installed em in a few hours.

Was just curious and this may have been asked before, but does the light from these give off much heat. I would doubt it as it's more reflective than direct but just curious.

mike still runs a chiller since his tank is in the garage, but with my tank in the house, it stays right at 79 degrees all the time with no chiller.
