Glue - How Much Do You Go Through?

How much super glue do you go through and how long does an order last?

I am picking up 10 tubes of IC-Gel 20gm and wonder if it will have an expiration date :bigsmile: .... hope it last a long time.

I was tired of running out of the little 2gm tubes when I needed it. Total was $4.68 per tube shipped.

Yeah, i need some too. I went through 11 small tubes last week. Is IC the name of the gel or does it stand for something?

Nice and thick with a fast curing time - see a lot of posts on the net where people use this with their corals. IC Gel is the brand name - all super glues are a various thickness of cyanoacrylate.

we have tried this before and in my opinion, it's not as good as the loctite. I need to put together another group order

Jennifer, if you do a group order, I am in. I have used it and for me, it works better than super glue but that is just me.

You can buy super glue (CA adhesive) at a hobby shop in .5, 1, 2, and 4 ounce bottles. It comes in various thicknesses from thin to gel. Thick or gel is what you want. A 4 ounce bottle is about $10.00 to $15.00, depending on the brand. For mounting frags, the store brand is good. A 4 oz. bottle should last you a long time. You can store it in the freezer to extend the shelf live if needed.

If you do buy the bigger bottles, I recommend you buy extra tips. You'll need them.
