ummmm I'm not sure. It came in a package deal and I just turned it on to verify it worked....

I think once a year, and it has been over a year since it was last changed. a NEW 50/50 BULB should look more blue than the old one, but it's not as blue as a 14k or 20k MH bulb.

The frags vary some have a few polyps and others have a few more...you can see pics in of both in the Frag Program threads...

Purple nurples...mine came from Rycheck. Here's his pic of them: (frag is from this generation)

They both grow fast and are aggressive...even just one polyp will be many in several weeks. No joke! I make islands out of them.
