I have decided to bring my return flow down a little in my tank. I am looking to trade my pump for something in the 1000-1100gph range or 900gph at 4-5 ft. I am also offering it for sale at $100 firm. this pump retails at almost $400, so it is a pretty good deal. I have had it running for 3 months flawlessly. Prior to that it was a backup pump for another one of our reefers here, never used, only tested.
It is a pressure rated pump, meaning you can put something like penductors on it for increased flow without wearing out the pump. It is rated at 1500gph at 4ft of head, and is very powerfull! I wouldn't recommend this for any tank small than 6ft long, or you will just have a sand storm.
