Debbie packaged my bulbs inside a PVC tube that was then bubble wrapped. That was then packed inside a sturdy cardboard box. I was worried as the box had some dents in the corners, but all 5 made it intact.

Whoops! Just saw you wanted local. Oh well, still applies otherwise.
