What do I do? I have a red sea pro hob skimmer, it was working fine till I turned it off for 24 hours, and now when I turn it back on, its nothing but bubbles? Does anyone know how to fix this on this akimmer?

I used to have a HOB skimmer, take it off and clean it without soap in hot water. If it still has micro bubbles stick a piece of filter pad in the return chamber.

i wouldn't recommend using soap as sometimes they have bad chemicals in them and chemicals sometimes will stick even though you rinsed everything really well

There is still a lot of small bubbles, there is close to none when the skimmer is almost completely off

Some of these smaller skimmers take a few hours to adjust after they have been turned off and cleaned. You said it was turned off for 24hours...so maybe it's still adjusting.???

Yes sir, let's hope so, I hope all these bubbles are not the cause of my Picasso being "ill"

It is possible if there are too many microbubbles to be a problem for respiration for the fish. I would leave skimmer off a few days (do water changes instead).
