Recently I purchased the nanotuners 3.24 upgrade for my 14G BioCube. Let me just say......awsome. The stock lights are ok if you don't know any better. However, the upgrade is well worth the money. It increases wattage from 48W to 72W and 3.43W per gallon to 5.14W per gallon. I also purchased the R2 Moonlight option and once again... AWSOME. I really want to put the word out there because this kit DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The R2's make the moonlights go from ho hum spotlights with the stock ones to blinging full coverage moonlight with the R2 Moonlights.

The overall ease of installation is 9/10 with the options I choose. If you did the very basic upgrade I would rate it 10/10 on install. I would rate the kit overall a 11/10. IT IS JUST THAT GOOD! There support on Nanotuners I would rate 10/10 as well. I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH, if you have a cube, aquapod or whatever.......UPGRADE! You will only thank yourself later!

I thought about that however, I bought some Evercool double ball bearing 13.2 CFM fans of the net. It is super quite due to the double ball bearings and REALLY MOVES AIR. I have no problems anymore with my cube getting hot or anything. Did you do the R2 moonlight upgrade?

I dont have my 14 cube anymore but after the upgrade i got bored and did the 18inch sunpod halide 70 watt setup it was great I eventually outgrew the tank and upgraded i wish i kept it though i could have stuck it in my office at work

With the halide did you have heating problems? I figured it would get really hot.
