I'm thinking of buying a used ER CS8-2 Skimmer and was interested in hearing opinions on this beofre I make the purchase. It comes with a new Sedra pump. What do you all think would be a good price? Thanks!

Does $225 seem like a good price?

With a new pump it seems like a good deal. At less than half the original selling price.

I have one and like it a lot. Doubt you will find a better one for that kind of money.

I think with all the high dollar sps coral you have you ought to invest a little more in your skimmer. Deltec and Bubble King are good skimmers. :)

I decided against the used ER Skimmer and I'm now thinking of getting a Precision Marine Redline 150. Opinions on this one would be appreciated.

I used to love Euroreef when I bought an old cs 6-2 four years ago. But, I just purchased an RS-80 for a smaller tank and was disappointed at the overall quality. Seems like their material quality and workmanship have declined over the last few years.
I know Bruce raves about PM, and from what I've seen, they look like a good alternative to Euroreef. Think I may try one myself next time the need arises.
