In Search Of Purple Hornets Eye Candy

Does anyone know where I can get some Purple Hornets zoanthids? I have seen pictures of them and I would really like to get some for my husband. If you have any info on where I can find some, please let me know.

I had some similar to that that were really dark blue, but started to lose a little color under my lights. I didn't pay anywhere near that. I bought them as African paly's.

Aquaden's wife named em, he is reefer on reef2reef. there are alot of lookalikes out there since the prices have gone crazy on these.

This is what they looked like when I first bought them They wre under 14K MH SE, but when switched to DE they lost their brightness.

OMG, I know the seller. He goes by the name "Kigs" :thumbs_down: on most sites like ReefCentral & Reef2Reef (ClubZoa Back Then). I don't know how or where he gets his stuff from, but he is always selling freshly cut & butchered LE frags all over the place. I paid over $400 last year to him for 8 small LE Zoa and Paly frags. When I got the frags 4 out of the 8 had leaky bags and had lost most if not all of their water. All this after I even asked him to hold off on the shipping for 2 weeks to give the frags time to heal a bit. All but 1 of the frags died almost immediately (with in 2 days). I contacted him right away about the leaky bags and he seemed shocked as if it was an isolated incident. He offered to pay half the shipping and offered to replace 2 of 7 the frags with doubles, but suddenly he had "SOLD OFF" all of his good LE Frags and had nothing but mediocre to basic frags to replace the others with. Then the delays came. I took him almost 4 months to send the replacement frags and I still received 1 of the 7 bags without water. I told him about it and sent him a picture mail right away. I gave up and said don't worry about it. 2 of those frags died. I thought I was the only one with this experience until I had a casual conversation about LE Palys with another MAAST Member in Austin. He began to tell me a similar story about Mr. Suh. I acted as if I didn't know Vince aka Kigs because I felt he at least made an attempt to fix the issue (4 months later) & I didn't want to start any trouble. It's funny to see he's still around selling his LE Frags with pictures from the MOTHER COLONY and NOT the Actual WYSIWYG FRAG instead. :sarcastic:

Sounds bad huh? The worse thing is I have all the pictures on my other laptop to prove it, but we'll just leave it at that. :wink_smile:
