i think mine broke not pushing out water can hear it running but not doin anything. i opened it but all still intact. i banged it to see if that would get it goin but nothing. anyone got an impeller to spare.

I had one of the fins on my mag 12 impellor break. I purchased a new one through Texas Tropical.

Take the impeller out and use 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper on the magnet and where the impeller goes into the motor. After time, a film develops that causes the two to loose the gap tolerance. Too tight and it won't turn.

it broke in half i had it out and the kids got it and broke the ceramic pin in half. the original problem was the prop wouldnt turn it some how broke from the black plastic thingy if u know what i mean. so i was super glueing it every time i did a water change cuz it wouldnt start back up once i turned it off.
