I'm currently trying to put together my fish list for my up and coming 90g. I would really like to have a small (4-5) school of fish but not sure what kind. The 2 kinds that come to mind are Chromis or Cardinals...any ideas. The only other fish I have decided on is a yellow Tang.

Anthias are a very cool and beautiful schooling fish but do cost a bit more than Chromis or cardinals.

I currently have 3 PJ Cardinals...They do not do mcuh but are pretty. I am goin gto buy about 6-8 Green Chromis soon. Based on what I have read they form a great shoal, are not territorial, and swim constantly.

I have a school of green chromis in one tank and a school of lyetail anthias in another. Blue reef chromis would be a good choice also. Anthias are great, but need to be fed 2-3 times per day (I do 2 mostly) and are more finicky eaters.

Thanks for the suggestions....I'll have to think on it somemore ! I love the look of the Cardinals...the way they just hang there (kinda spooky!) but a "swimming" school of fish is beautiful to watch! Could I do both?
