Well, I pulled the trigger on a trio of these beautiful fish. I was too tempted.
Will arrive on Tues morning.
Expensive, but I have good luck with my 8 lyetails in the 115gal tank.
These guys will go in the big display tank where there are no anthias.
Pictures will, eventually, follow.

Thats where thay came from, Sean.
I have had the best experience from liveaquaria with fish (hope it continues), although is very cold in Wisconsin right now.
I was actually looking for a nice Sohal Tang when i saw these.
My original plan was for 5 or 6 of the blotched anthias as a single species in the new tank, but they are hard to come by in any volume. So I ended up with the Lyetails in there. But, I couldnt pass these guys up for the other tank.

Well, I got my three blotched anthias from F&S today, but overall a bad experience.
First, the fish were shipped from Wisconsin...........very very cold there. Believe it or not they screwed up and NO heat packs. Fish were all alive but cold and not looking good. I acclimated long and slow. Two looked a little better, but the third was very distended and had very hard time getting under surface. Swim bladder issue.
I put them in my 34gal RSM (sort of quarrantine tank). Later it was apparent that the two Talbots damsels (I hate all damsels, will never ever own another) were harrasing the already stressed out fish. Due to rock work, I had to essentially get all the rock out to eradicate the damsels to my sons pico vs. the toilet. While getting the rock out, a midas blenny jumped out, but was put back in fairly quickly. Saddest part was a wonderful little 6-line wrasse must have went in a tunnel in the rock and I didnt notice (STUPID). This fish didnt make it. I am so mad at myself. All due to the damsels.
So, rough afternoon. I am very upset with F&S. I am sure they will make me happy, but at the expense of the fish. I hope the trio of anthias make it, but I am concerned. Particularly with the one withe the distended swim bladder.
A day I would like to do over!!
Here is one of the better looking ones:

Oh man Mark. Sounds like a terrible day. So sorry about your 6-line wrasse. I have had mine for 3 years and would be devastated if anything happened to him.
Good luck with rest. Be sure to keep us posted.

Sorry about your sixline DrMark. Although it is an easily replacable fish, it's still sad to lose any of them. Hopefully your anthias will pull through!!!
I had a somewhat similar experience when I ordered a fish from the divers den. Long story short, it went to the wrong address (thier fault, not mine) and sat on a porch for about 5 hours before I knew it was there. When I got to the box and opened it up the fish was DOA. The fish was packaged like Fort Knox, but even that couldn't withstand the South Texas heat. Needless to say liveaquaria quickly sent me out another McCoskers flasher wrasse the next day. Hopefully you won't have to utilize thier excellent customer service!

Man that's sucks, waiting and anticipating for your present to come and somebody had to ruined the moment. Hope the 3 fishes make it thru.

Mark,
Keep us posted about your trio... will be thinking good thoughts for you and these beautiful fish. I know that Live Aquaria will do whatever it takes to make this right if they don't make it (excellent customer service in my experience!), but really hate for you to have the loss in the first place.
