So, I have a terrible outbreak of red Valonia algae. All of my rock looks like a 13 year old's pubescent face. Now, I do regular water changes. In the past couple of months I have done three 50% water changes in addition to my biweekly 20% change. I have chaeto and run a phosban reactor. I have two small fish in my 90 and only feed irregularly. I only mention all of this in case someone asks :)
Here is my question, though. Should I try and 'cook' the rock or would I be better served just letting it dry out and starting over? I started cooking it but this is probably going to take forever. I have about 125 lbs total.
