Im redoing my tank and in the process removed a foam structure that was siliconed into place. I got the sturcture off but am left with a silicone spot that is at least 6"x6". I can scrape some off with a razor but not get all of it this way. Is there a safe chemical or something that will get it off?

I always use rubbing alcohol when I'm putting silicone on a tank but I don't know if it will help when the silicone is already cured.

If you cant get it all with the razor blade, rubbing alcohol and a cloth should get the rest off.
