my sand has has this light green on its surface for a long time, and it's ugly =/. so i read up on a few species of sand sifting gobies, think they would do the job of sturring it up and making it white again?
i got a bicolor blenny in the tank though (75 gal), any had this mix and had a problem before?

We have a diamond goby and a bicolor blenny in our tank. The blenny and the goby are 2 different species and would probably be fine, ours have never paid any attention to each other. We really like our diamond goby, who is a very hard worker. Gobys jump though, so make sure you have a cover. HTH- Mike

You can also add nassarious snails and perhaps a cucumber or two. You may want to kick up the flow a bit or alter it to gently blow "across"( not at) the sandbed, may help also. Do you have this algae film on the rocks/glass/walls also, how old are your lights?
Cheers,
