Frags

Hello all. A fellow reefer here looking to see if anyone from my area uses this site. I am looking to trade some frags but I guess I have to wait for 50 posts before offering :confused: ?? Anyway, anyone on here from Corpus Christi as well? Thanks.

The reason for the 50 posts requirement is that many people sign up for the forum without paying for membership and all they do is post for sale stuff. Sometimes they pretend to be hobbyists and businesses and the like. It is a way to protect the purpose of the club.

On another note, welcome to MAAST and there are a few fellow Corpus reefers. Dr. Mark is down there and has several nice tanks.

hey guys, do any of you know where to score some high quality frags in Corpus? I have been to see Eric and A.M.'s, and to the Haven, but they don't have any of the awesome stuff i see online. Well, Aquarium Masters does have this sweet sun coral [orange], its huge! But I am into the soft stuff...i want good stuff but I don't want to drive to S.A.

My huge colony (well huge to me anyway) of pink zoas just "fragged" itself. A chunk of about 60 or so polyps was hanging on to the mother colony by a tiny piece of tissue so I took a razor blade and helped it along.

I now have 3 frags with approximately 15 to 20 polyps each. One of them also has a few polyps of "eye of Rah" zoa's too.

I'll either sell, or trade the frags. Let me know!

Here's a pic of the mother colony. It's not that great, they are more pink in person. SoLiD has seen them, I'm sure he would vouche that they are pretty nice.

unfortunately, the only high end corals are in our tanks.....you wont find them at the LFS in this town.

It's sad, but true. There just isn't enough of a market here locally for our LFSs to stock high end stuff.

Yeah Glen those Pink Zoas are nice. They are more pink in person. I wouldn't mind a frag of those. :D

Same. That one has about 8 of the pinks, and from what I can tell by looking in my tank with a flashlight lol, about 6 or so Eye of Rah polyps.

You can just take your pick of which frag you want.

Well, like I said, I owe you. I'm glad I can repay you, even if it is with just a little frag!

I also have a couple of frags of one of the millis (red w/ blue tips) you picked up for me that I guess broke along the way. You're more than welcome to one of them if you would like. The two smaller ones are about 2", and the largest is probably 3", and dual branching.

Hey yeah! Aquapod24 here representing CC by the seaside! Glennr1978 and Dr. Mark. I'm looking for zoos.

I have a ric (orange&light purple with a tiny bit of bright green) that just split and the new one is the size of a quarter.

I also have two heads of hammer coral for trade.

I can do that. SoLiD has first pick, but you and AP24 get the other 2 frags (both are nice).

I'll post a pic of the actual frags tomorrow when my lights come on.
