I have recently purchased an 8 gal biocube that I am putting together for my brother for Christmas. I am ready to put liverock in it now, but don't want to pay $9/lb. Plus, if anyone has any accessories for a small biocube that would increase its performance, let me know. I'm not sure what I want to do to it yet, but am open to suggestions. Thanks!

Just now saw your reply. Do you still have the liverock?
I need basic things, such as thermometer, hydrometer, koralia nano, small frags, possibly a small skimmer. I've never had a tiny tank before and don't really know where to start and stop when it comes to modifications.

We went ahead and bought the Koralia Nano today, but all of the other stuff I am interested in. I will call you about it, but it will have to be the beginning of next week. I have tickets to ACL this weekend and will be busy the whole time.

I had noticed that modification on your thread. I will keep that in mind once we start stocking corals. I don't know yet what I want to put in it, and whether or not it needs that much flow.
This is much slower going than I thought it would be.

It doesnt add more flow, just disperses it different, to make a better current.
