Hi guys,
Not sure what the purpose of this tank is and not sure if I am gonna keep it. It's a 67 gallon made by Oceanic. It's 4ft x 18 x 18. It has a glass divider in the middle. The nicely drilled holes are 2.5". It has never been used. I water tested it up to the holes and it's fine. Any ideas regarding the glass in the middle? Can it be removed? The tank glass is 5/8" thick. Thanks for any advice.

Hadn't thought of a sump/fuge. I was gonna set up a small tank first, probably a 40 breeder with a 20g sump.
I just don't know how important the middle piece of glass is to the overall structure.
The tank came from a store in SA, not sure which one.

You could do a tank on one side and a sump/fuge on the other...

Never mind, I thought the glass was just a support, but now I see it divides the tank. Good luck, it will be interesting to see how you use it...

It would be cool to do a reef on one side and Fish only on the other. It would be the best of both worlds.

Octopus tank. Drill a hole in the center of the divider, the octo will squeeze through it. It would make a cool show at feeding time. If you're interested in them, www.tonmo.com (http://www.tonmo.com) is the place for everything cephalopod. You could grow a O. Briarieus in that tank no problem.

Wow, you guys have some good ideas. Yeah, Noober I thought maybe it was built for a store, but I cant figure out the why the holes were drilled the way they were. A friend said I should do something seperate like fish and reef, but I think this is just bigger than I want right now. dustin21 I will pm you when I decide what to do with this thing.
I would love to have an octo. We had one at school (biology major), but the little bugger kept escaping through the tiniest openings. It was so cool watching it feed.
