Does anyone know where I can find metal halide lighting for a 29 gallon tank around here?

Most Local Fish Stores normaly do not stock metal halide lights but some might. Most, if not all, will be able to order a setup for you, depending on what you want to go with.

Thanks for the welcome and information!

I actually just saw a nice compact florescent fixture on craigslist for a decent price.

The only problem is it is 36 inches but my tanks only 30 inches.

From what I see though, they dont make them in 30 inch so is there any way to kind of rig it to my tank?

I have a canopy, but with my filter system and protien skimmer its sort of tough to use so I was thinking about taking it off all together.

VoodooMach has/had a nice one posted for sale here recently. It is a Coralife Aqualight Pro 150w halide that clips on to the tank. It should be perfect for a 29 gallon. :)
