Hello everyone! I just wanted to show everyone what i have done with my RSM. and get some feedback. I stared the tank in Feb and this is what i have done till Aug. I hope you all like. Let me know

I have had 5 tanks in my life but the RSM is the most though out all in one unit i have seen. I started with at 29g the went to a 55g the to a 200g then i bought a 24 nano at the same time as the 200. An now i have the 34g

So putting the RSM in the place that i did was behind a closet under the stairs. So lots of room to grow.

Just look and you'll see!!!!!

This is my first real picture of the tank.

And this is it now. I know i have some air bubbles in this pic but i have fixed it since then.

Now starts the fun stuff

It all started with the skimmer. I could never get rid of the bubbles that the skimmer put im my tank. So this is where i began. I removed the top of the skimmer and then cut the whole thing in half. i didn't remove it because it directs the water to go through the filter pads first.

Then i drilled two small holes threw the wall. LOL The wife was not happy.

All of this was for a good cause IMO but my wife doesn't think so LOL
SO i made a stand to put a 20g Long tank that i put some baffels in made some return lines and made a place for the new protien skimmer, refugium, and pump for the chiller.

The place where you see the bottle of RO water is going to be a Coral Frag growing station. Im going to put a 48lX16wX12h tank and some HQI lights. thats why if you notice i have two return lines on the side with the pump.

This is a top view of the skimmer area just to give you a better idea

That looks great! People are turning those closets into aquacaves! :) I like that hogfish, they are so pretty.... So, how many times did you misplace your beer? :p

Edit: Hey, you sure better get that metal hoseclamp away from water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah i was a little wasted taking those pictures. And yes i did lose my beer a couple of times, but it was kinda nice because i would go on to do something else then find it. it was like finding a 20 dollar bill on the ground. lol

I took out one of the stock 10,000K/Actinic lighting and replaced it with a full Actinic. IMO i thought it was too white. So now its just the one 10,000K/Actinic lighting and one fill Actinic.

there should be some soon. I just picked up a free tank from penny2cents. It was a 29 gallon high so i think it would work out well. Going to the store today to pick up some more fittings and pipes.

more to come
