can anyone help me with a biodenitator? so far all i know is that "1 75' run of 1/4" ID coils is right for about a 75 gal tank max"

1. what size of pvc tubing?
2. does the tubing coil around the pvc tube and hook up on the side at the bottom, then exits out at the top of it with a valve on it?
3. how does it enter the 1/4" tubing from the pump?

does anyone have any pics of theirs or of any on the internet?

Guess you're talking about a coil denitrator? Never knew anyone to have much luck w/that type.

You may want to look into a sulphur based biodenitrator. I've had great success w/mine and so have many others.

why is there no luck? i read on RC that it works, you just have to let it cycle. sulphur one is different from this one. this just uses the coil and some bioballs in some pvc that is inexpensive to make

Didn't say they didn't work. Different versions of that type of filter have been around for a while. I knew a few people in the 90's who tried the coil denitrators and they didn't have any luck w/'em. But, I also read success stories. I was just relating first-hand experience.

Never tried this new version. Hopefully someone can help out.
