I'll take six K8's to add A LITTLE more flow to my tank....

Wow! Sure you don't need to reinforce your tank walls before turning that 3200+gph monster on?

:blushing:I wonder what would happen if i add one of those koralia8 in my 55gal. it would probably blow all my sand and fish into my overflow box

The Koralia 8 is pretty close to max flow of a Tunze 6101 (3,170 gph) and 36 watts. Wonder if it can be controlled?

Maybe....Fwiw, I have over 3500gph churning in the display of my 40g, no sandstorms here. The fish do seem to get a good workout though!!

I already think that a Koralia 4 is obtrusive in the tank. I'm guessing these will be even bigger.
I'm curious to see the new Tunze series next to a K8.

They actually dont look much bigger. Hydor has also released the new Controlable Power heads where you can adjust the flow.
Koralia C Nano 100-260 gph
C 1 180-450 gph
C 2 150-680 gph
C 3 370-950 gph
C 4 550-440 gph
Also Hydor has a new Wavemaker system to use with these.

I am excited to see them working. I am a big fan of the pumps myself! For the price and water flow I dont think you can go wrong. I have had (4) K4's for nearly 2 years and they are still working strong with no issues whatsoever.
