i appear to have cracked in the process of moving it back inside after the reflooring of my house. all the cracks are confined to one pane, but it leaks pretty bad, my question is how should i repair this? is is as simple as getting a large piece of acrylic and siliconing it over the existing panel and redrilling the hole for the bulkhead, or should i just replace that panel (also can that be done without complete disassembly?), or should i just bite the bullet and get a new sump?

talk to ace, he's the best person in my opinion to answer that and could probably assist you if needed. Good luck getting your sump fixed

sorry, don't want to sidetrack thread.
If it's acrylic, then the cracks could be joined back together with the right materials (Weldon) or the old panel could be cut out and a new one put back in. If it's glass you could break out the broken piece and silicone in a new one from a glass supply place.
As suggested, Ace (Hobogato on here) is the best bet to fix it for you if it's acrylic, or just about anything else for that matter!

of course i see that after i did the repairs myself. I found all the stuff i needed at work. They will work, but they do look pretty horrible, as it was my first attempt at repair. but a thousand thank yous for the offer and i probably will need some help in the future so i'll save your number.
