Anyone make their own filter socks?

If so, what kind of material do you use and where do you get it.

Thanks.

I buy a FELT from walmart, cost about 4 dollars for a yard and I make about 11 filters depend on size you want.

filter looks so good to me, i replaced every two days depends on bioload do you have in your tank.

My wife laughed at me cuz I can sew machine!

I use fleece, I get it up at Hancock Fabrics at Bandera/Heubner. You can wash it as many times as you need to. Inexpensive, too.

Also something to remember, there is something in the filter material that makes skimmers go Nutz. :p
