I really enjoyed meeting you and your two children and River City and was really hoping to take you up on the offer to get together sometime and let the kiddos get together. I really don't understand what happened here today.

I'd been offering to buy entire system since your post that you'd received 3 offers on polyps. After polyps were sold, again I messaged you to buy out system. Then posted to please read PM because I'd like to take the whole system. Later an offer came in on the SPS and later you came back to the site and accepted it, not responding to my PM. I'd proposed a trade offer and was ready to pay full cash if you didn't want to trade, but for some reason I was ignored. So no, sorry, I don't understand. I feel slighted here today.

I won't make anymore public statements regarding this. I'm retracting any and all offers that made. Thanks.

Well, not that it really matters, but many of us here on MAAST stay in touch frequently. I was in touch with Garrett within a couple of minutes of his post. So what you see about my posting for palys was actually one of my last contacts. I called him directly.

While you were messaging, some of us were calling and talking. Garrett is an awesome guy and if he were in it for the money he would have done differently. Garrett is awesome at helping fellow reefers. I am not sure why you would feel slighted. You weren't ignored, just beaten to the punch. I had already sent paypal by the time you posted.

Garrett is a great guy. He set up my entire tank with plumbing for free and hardly knew me at that time. Lee is correct that many of us talk on the phone and the order of posts in a sale can be misleading as far as who has "dibs"

Perhaps he was being inundated by too many messages. It just would not be polite to go into details. Perhaps the hacker has messed up the timing of PMs and mine are somehow delayed. Lee, I know you beat me to the punch, no hard feelings, truth is that I was not interested in coral and was ready to honor any commitments made.

Had he provided a number to contact him to make an offer maybe things would have been different, but only some have that number. I attempted to call immediately after your post Lee, and must have had an old number.

Really, he's a nice guy. I'm a nice person. I thought the sale was being handled on the forum, not by phone calls, my bad.
