I am thinking of going a different direction with my lightning, so I'm checking interest on my MH's. I have 5 DE 250w DE pendants with electronic ballasts of which 4 are just about a year old and the fifth is 2+ yrs old. The 4 have RF 12k bulbs less than 6 months old. The fifth is without bulb but I have a older one for it with some life left on it. I would like to get $160 each for the newer ones and $110for the latter. The 4 are in operation now and will have to remain long enough for me to get my new lights. Let me know if you are interested and I will ship at purchaser's expense. I will take $300 if you buy a pair.

If somebody needs pairs, then I would let the pairs go for $375 but other than that, I guess they'll just sit in the garage. These are superb lights and some of the most efficient available.

These new cost: Ballast....$139 + shipping
Pendant..$119 + shipping
Bulb.......$60 + shipping

Total.....$318 + shipping

The pair price is just about what it costs for one unit shipped.

They are I guess PFO DE 250w. I love the way they work but I just got an experiment that I want to do and I really don't want to let these just lay on a shelf in the garage but I won't give them away either...

I want to cram as many T5s as I can and use 4 different spectrum's to see how certain corals react.

Nice Steve. There are many different bulb spectrums out there. Just don't skimp on the reflectors for the T-5's!

got a lot of lookers....

I wanted to sell these fast to get the T5's I needed but thanks to Ace, I got the "baby" bulbs today. So when these sell, I can get the other bulbs for the 280g.

$300 for a pair is a STEAL...hey cost more than that new for one.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Getting rid of my 3 250 watt de pendants and two 72 inch VHOs and go all T5s. Just not sure how many I'd need to make it work since I'd have to go with the 36 inch bulbs side by side to get max coverage. So I'm guessing between 12 and 16 I could fit into the canopy system I have, for a total of 6 to 8 rows.
Let me know how yours works out.
