My brother-in-law is looking to buy a new or used nano cube setup for no more than $400. Preferably with a canopy and T5 lighting. Metal Halides would be nice but I'm thinking not possible with a canopy on a nano.
He wants to have softies for sure and possibly SPS further down the road.
Any recommendations or do you know someone selling one? Point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

20+ gal. Where did you get your 29? I told him about your nano's and it motivated him to want one. ALL In ONE...can be very appealing.

I bought it from AD. They had the best prices, even beat internet pricing but it was around 650ish with stand which red sea requires you buy to get their 2 yr warranty.

I was at Texas Tropical the other day and one of the employees was sellling his full set up nano. I think it was a 34g for $250-$300. He was a young kid who I have never seen working there.

Pretty good deal depending on the tank brand and equipment etc....
If it were me Id by a 30g Cube and a 70w Viper MH Clamp and make a cool HOB Fuge with a Sapphire Skimmer. It would be sweet!

Any comments on the two? We are a bit worried that the first one may get too hot and he might have to purchase a chiller for it. What you think?
