I have 3 frags available of the Tyree LE Flower Petal Polyp Monti Cap. Pictured is one of the frags I made. The other two are different shaped but still give you about the same amount of coral. I am asking $25 per frag. I fragged these yesterday and would like to wait till the weekend to make certain they heal up ok. So far so good. I recieved this coral from Viper_390 of Frags.org who recieved the coral from ATL. It is a bit difficult to see the blue polyps with my less than oustanding camera.

Here is what Tyree from Reeffarmers say about this coral: "This coral has some of the strangest colored polyps that we have seen in a Montipora species. Polyps initially appear to have a two tone blue coloration to the human eye but on closer examination patterns can be observed. When polyps are partially expanded they appear to be colored dark blue with lite white blue stripes. When the polyps are fully expanded the polyp has a flower petal appearence that is dark blue with white blue petals. See closeup image below. This is why Reeffarmers calls this coral the Montipora sp. Flower Petal Polyp Coral. The main body is colored blue/purple along its edges. Inside of the blue there is a medium green and at the very center of the thick plating coral they appears to be some yellow green pigments. We have been maintaining this coral under moderate light and it would be interesting to see how the corals pigments develop under strong light. This is another exotic coral that Reeffarmers acquired from a private coral collecter located in Texas. We do not know were the wild coral colony was initially exported from. Reeffarmers recieved our captive grown seed fragment in the summer of 2004. We are maintaining this farmed seed colony in one of our 125 gallon naturally filtered Tri-Zonal Reef Aquariums. In the Reeffarmers.com captive reef the coral is currently recieving moderate light from a 400 watt 20,000 K Radium Metal Halide. Limited Edition Reservation price is currently $65 per small sized fragment. The monthly limited edition reservation schedules can be found below. Please note effective March 2009 we have changed the harvesting and reservation schedule to bimonthly. This better matches the corals long term growth rate in captivity."

Price Drop! For $25 you can have your very own Tyree LE coral. The blue polyps makes this a very unique coral. Check out Tyree's site to see how this should look once it gets larger. I need to raise some funds to keep my coral addiction going.

Has become a fast grower once it established to my tank. Pretty similar growth compared to the other caps I have.

I'd be happy to hold it for ya. I believe you wanted a "Dale's" Blue Tenius as well. Did you want the $10 or $15 frag?

I still have one Tyree frag remaining.
