A couple friends and I went to Aransas Pass yesterday and swung by the jetties last night to try and catch some peppermint shrimp. It's easy, in about 10 minutes we had 7 which is all we really wanted cuz we didn't have a good means of transporting them back home. The 7 we did catch did survive the trip home in a bait bucket but next time we'll be more prepared. We were out there about 10:00 or so.

We actually caught two of them at once and on a different attempt we caught what I thought was a small mangrove snapper about 4 inches. I'll let you know the next time I head down there. I want to snorkel there during the day and see what's there, the guys I was with have done it so I might try it sometime.
