I've recently added several new corals to my tank, mostly zoas and palys. But for the life I cannot figure out why some are completely peeved and shut tight and the others are like "Ta Da! I have arrived!". Two things in particular I've noticed: 1) Mostly blue corals hate my tank. They look lovely in the store, I bring them home and they hide or try to melt. 2)My new zoas are doing sooo much better than the palys. (the palys are the ones with the taller stalk right?) Well from the same order I've had the zoas slowly peak out, while the palys look a bit like a dead sausage :sick:
I have zoas at various levels of the tank with different light and flow but the palys seem really picky. Where can I put them and save them???:cry_smile:
