Take it to Altex on 35 and tell them you need the cabling extended. They do that stuff all day long. :)

Is it just a BNC type connector on the cable? I install/service CCTV equipment so I could make you a cable and you could try it out. I don't have the mini crimpers for the small coax, so it would be like a regular RG59 cable with a 22awg center conductor.

Yes. What you need is a Male to Female BNC Cable.

Mike - Let me know how long a cable you need and I can make one up for you to try out for free before going and buying one.

I wonder if the added resistance will affect the accuracy of the measurement. May want to re-calibrate with the extension in place.

That was what I was kind of wondering myself. I figured he should test it without the extension and then with it to compare readings. You could probably email the manufacturer, but they will probably want to sell you their extension cable. Kind of like we've been trying to get two Belkin switchers to communicate to each other and instead of telling us the wiring diagram so we can make or buy the cable locally, they only want to sell us their $100 cable! LOL
