FS (Aus): All SPS must go!

I'm starting the long slow process of shutting down my current tank. I'll eventually replace it with another that isn't built in to the wall (so I can sell my house). But I'll probably take a break this summer to take an extended vacation and also take a break from the summer electricity bill the tank would run up.

So with that said, my first course of action is to sell off all the corals in the tank. I'll sell frag sized pieces or larger pieces (even whole colonies) depending upon what you want and are willing to pay. I have listed prices for frag sized pieces.

A partial listing of what I have:

Frag sized pieces (these have all encrusted on my rock):

Oregon tort ($30 takes the whole frag)
Raspberry milli ($20 takes the whole frag)
Garf Bonsai ($20 takes the whole frag)
Pink tulip acro (Atlantis) ($30 takes the whole frag)

I'm sure I've forgotten a few others as well.


Note: SOME of the smaller frags aren't at their best at the moment due to an alk drop I had a couple weeks ago (solenoid got stuck in the OFF position!). I have priced these to take that into effect.


If you are interested, please plan on buying at least $40 worth. I promise you will leave happy and I'll always throw in something extra.

In a bizarre twist of fate the main seal on my closed loop pump (1/8 hp Sequence) just blew! My son came through the house screaming "Dad, there's water on the floor!" LUCKILY, I only lost a gallon or two of water before I realized what had happened and shut of the valves to the pump.

So if you are interested PLEASE call. I've got a K2 and a nanonstream I've placed in the tank for circulation but it's not gonna be enough for more than a couple days.

The raspberry lemonade isn't that big to begin with (2.5" or so), so it's all or nothing on it.

Thanks for the offer of a pump, but it was my closed loop pump that died (1.5" plumbing). I've managed to get quite alot of the coral out already so I should be ok for awhile with the nanostream and k2. My main sump pump is still alive thankfully.

I'm also going to start selling the rock in the tank (somewhat conditional upon getting the last of the SPS out). The rock is $3/lb + $10-20 per rock that has SPS encrustations on them (depending upon #/type/etc.). Not all rock has SPS on them, so plenty of rock will be available at $3/lb. The rock is primarily Fiji rock.
