Copepod Group Order

One of my pod sources is definitely on board with group sales. Here's what I heard from her:

"Hi Cory - Yes, I do! I offer free (two-day) shipping for orders of 6 or more bottles, a 10% discount for orders of 10 to 20 and a 20% discount with orders of twenty or more. I will go ahead and give a go at managing a group order if we can gather a minimum order of at least 6 bottles to qualify for free shipping.

Pick up would be in Austin at my place in NW Austin or at River City and I can take PayPal payments. I will even babysit the pods for a couple days if you cannot pick up immediately :wink_smile:

I have one more message in to Adelaide to confirm what species are in the oceanpods. That way, for those of us that want to increase diversity, order locally, or order different species we'll know what we already have :)

I'm not sure if everyone is new to pods or seasoned experts, but I just want to mention that it took a good week to two weeks for me to see my population explode. I was hesitant when the little bottle arrived, but no worries, those little guys reproduce like fiends :D

Alrighty, my fellow pod lovers. Our order is shipping out tomorrow and is tracked to arrive Tuesday the 13th by 10:30 am.

Please let me know what arrangements you would like for pick-up. I'm located in NW Austin/Avery Ranch and I'm available later on Tuesday for pick-up at my house or a meeting location. Wednesday is a good day for me too, I'm pretty flexible. The remainder of the week gets tricky and I would be available after 8pm.

If not, tonight is my most flexible night and you can swing by my place in the evening. If you are a pet geek and want to see something you don't see everyday, you can check out my Savannah kitties and Zebra pleco tank :bigsmile:

And tomorrow during the day I'm pretty flexible too.

*I recently had a small pod explosion in my culture tank. Let me know if you'd like a spoonful of amphipods and isopods. Whatever I can gather with my eye dropper thing :) I can just add it to your pod bottle.

I think you should have a pretty good pod mixture in there. There were 3 types in the original bottle and then I add the larger "c" shaped amphipods, and a bunch of little bitty white isopod types. Those were probably impossible to see.

Sure Saturday would be fine. You don't want to wait much longer because those little guys only do well in a bottle for so long. I've been keep the lid off and gave them a drop of food last night, but they've been in the bottle awhile now.
