New To Salt Water

Hello All,

My name is Octavio and i am trying salt water aquarium for my first time. Ive kept fresh water fish for a while. Im starting with a 10gl. I had a 20gl but the my light fixture burned out and its just to darn espensive to get a new one. I know i cant do much with it but i have to start somewhere. Any who i look forward to learning this side of the hobby and picking up info from you guys. Hopefully ill have the honor of meeting some of ya.:D

Welcome to MAAST! There are a good group of people on this site. Please ask any questions you have, everyone here is great about helping!

My advice is to take things slow.... it usually pays off better in the end.

My advice is to take things slowThats what the people that have pressured me into salt water have said. Yea its really hard not to go out and buy every little thing that catches my eye. I want to do this right. Im really hoping to get some sps in there in the near future.

Thanks again guys! Not really sure what FW means. Im a little embarrased to say it but i was converted SW. Thats peer pressure for ya.Im actually part of a few other forums. That might be why it looks familiar. Its funny you should say that because ive actually been meaning to call bank of america to have them send me a new credit card. The one i currently have is expired:redface:. Id be more than happy to scape some tanks for yall. If youll just give me a credit card and ill take care of that for ya:bigsmile:. J/K but seriously.
