Guys I have 3 med/large coral skeletons and was wondering if or what they can be used for in a filtration way. Can they be crushed or broken up and used in a fuge or in a reactor? Would this really do anything or should I just leave them be as dry decor? Im assuming they would keep my PH at a decent level which would benefit me since my water is Softer than most. Trying to give them more of a purpose versus collecting dust.

I've never had one RTN on me, so I wouldn't know...
I just throw them in the rockwork - they seem to disappear after a while.

Ray, I like your answer even better. I think we should all take a salt bucket, and throw our RTNd skeletons in them. Then, let's compare after a year!
