fish eyes question

If they are completely destroyed, or gone, can they grow back? Or can they grow back if they if they are not gone, but severely damaged?

Not to my knowledge. Once an eye is serverely damaged, it's gone.

I have never had a saltwater fish loose an eye, but back when I kept freshwater fish I did have a fish that lost both in altercations. They did not grow back, but the good news is that a fish's sense of smell seems to function well enough for it to still find food without the benefit of sight.
