i would say tunze because you can modify it to push out way more than 650. people report about 1,000+ gph
also its more flexible as where to face it while the koralia is limited. i have a koralia#1 and 2 tunze 6025s in my tank and love the 6025s
forgot to add that i added the tunze for sps and im glad i did

I would go with the koralia's. For the money they blow the tunzes away. I've had nothing but problems with the mounting bracket of the tunze. Also the koralies throw a wider stream of water than the tunze.

I have not had the chance to try the Koralia out, but I do have nano streams.
The nano streams had some problems for a while, such as the clips, the mount cracking, and the pump chattering. For the most part, all of the bugs have been worked out with the newer nano streams.
The other thing about Tunze that just cant be beat is the customer service. As most of you know, Tunze USA is in Austin, and run by Roger (the epitome of customer service).
Check out the Tunze forum on RC, there are countless threads:
Customer: "My 6025 is noisy"
Rodger: "Sure, send it back and we will send you a new one"
You cant put a price on that IMO

i've got two of the 6055s and two 6100s and the current they create is amazing....being able to control them with the 7095 provides alot of options and flexibility!

for the money of course koralia, but im not impressed with them. they cant totally face up or down or sideways. a friend of mine recommended them and mentioned to me about the mods. once you do the mods its supposed to be like buying the tunze 6045. i went ahead and bought two and did the mods and theyre great.
as for problems with the brackets and all of that, i havent had that problem. i have 2 of them and recently my friend just bought one for his 20 L, its the only powerhead in his tank
if you wanna follow the thread on the tunze 6025 mods its here http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1025361
this was from the beginning of last year. i never had any of those vibration problems with the tunze. also, the shroud is cheap at like 5 dollars or something if you ever want to put it back to normal

I have a Korallia 3 as the only flow on my 30 long. I love it, and I have no need for straight up or down flow. Paid $34 retail at Alamo.

I didn't even have to send mine back. I contacted Roger about a clip that broke on one of my 6025's and also mentioned that I had problems with one of them not starting up sometimes after feeding my fish. He sent me a new 6025 motor no questions asked, along with 2 of the new mounting clips. Tunze customer sevice can't be beat.
