Bird Wrasses (Pic included)

Ive finally caved in and the 210g is becoming a reef! Need to sale my last 2 non-reef safe fish.

2 Emerald green/blue wrasses.

$40 for both of them

Need at least a 100g for these guys. 1 is 6" and the other 4". Amazingly entertaning fish, they remind me of Dolphins when they race around the tank and skim the surface of the water. I would keep them but they do have a taste for inverts.

Have they been nipping at anything? My wife has a pair in her Gonipora tank and Duncans and Acan and nothing happening...

No I havnt had them with corals. Ive read they are not considered reef safe simply because they eat many of the inverts that live on reefs. Apparently they arent to into corals at all. I want to keep several inverts so they have to go. Founfdthis good link

Bump for THE coolest fish. I have an emerald and a brown in my 150 FOWLR and they are constantly cruising the tank. Because of the shape of their mouths, I think there would be little chance of them harassing any other fish. My pair are about the same size RA's and they have gotten along fine since day one. I love how active and colorful they are. Can't go wrong with these guys in a FO tank.
