man it seems like i've done everything i could and it manages to stay there and spread
first heres some parameters for my tank
28g gallon tank with a 20g tall refugium that has about 10gallons of water in it with chaeto and live rock rubble
amm: 0
nitrites:0
nitrates: 0
phosphates: "0"
Calcium: 460
ALK: 8-9dKH
Magnesium: 1300
two tunze 6025s modified to push out 1,200gph each plus 1 #1 koralia, i have an overlowbox that the water goes through a refugium/sump where a needlewheel octopus 150 that has all the mods done to it is-- it pulls out dark stuff
i recently added a phosban reactor with phosban media but it doesnt seem to be working. its hooked up to a maxijet 400
at first i had this stuff on my sand, once i added the skimmer it went away but the slime on the rock still stayed. this slime isnt like the one on my sandbed but its a dark red color-- spreads like coralline but isnt coralline because i can still scrape it off with the end of a turkey baster.
the last resort is to just use chemi-clean but im not sure. ive heard 50/50 stories of it being good or bad.
i am currently running 20 grams of phosban in the reactor, im still adding it slowly. any help would be great beforei use the chemi-clean
