can someone identify this?
it is 1/2 inch or smaller w/green tentacles and pink or red tips

It's a majano.

Well, you dont HAVE to, they can be very intrusive if left uncontrolled, if youre willing to keep their population in chech, theres really no reason to completely wipe them out. They are cool looking anems.

If you don't it will murder anything it touches, zoos, palys, etc., etc. They are a 'cousin' to Aiptasia, but harder to kill.

The only thing I know of that *might* eat them is a Double Saddle Butterfly. Unfortunately, when I tried that 'natural' solution, the butterfly also took a liking to my zoos, palys, yellow polyps, and clams........... Not a good solution for me.
