Anyone have any luck getting rid of this stuff? I havent done a water change in like six months, think that might help? LOL... Discuss...

I have some nubs of this stuff all over my tank, Isn't it spaghetti worms?

I have these in my tank from time to time. Apparently they are a good indicator that your calcium levels are superb. I have never seen them that numerous though, your calcium and alk must be perfect. I usually just pull them off from the base and that seems to help.

can't remember the name either but their are some sites that sell it as a desirable macro algae

It is a calcareous algae ], there was a thread on it a while back. I like it, but only get a few sprigs every now and then. You can scrape it off, but it is a pretty good indicator of where your calcium is, but theyre also using it to grow when your more expensive corals should be using it instead :)

I had a couple of them in my tank, but I put a green monti cap near it and I think it killed them. Not sure why, but my calcium is great, and I do 10 day 10% water changes w/ dosing.
