My concern is the impurities or additives that are not listed. I doubt they have a MSDS for this product. Would not hurt to ask.

"100% Natural That's what we like to hear when it comes to reptile substrates Reptilite from Carib Sea is a naturally spherical-grained sand that won't harm sensitive reptile scales or skin. No artificial dyes or chemicals, silica and phosphate free. Reptilite is completely edible and digestible, providing your reptiles with the most soluble calcium carbonate available for proper bone development. Available in 5 beautiful, natural colors-ideal for almost all reptile species. Easy to use and clean. "

Maybe try this in a nano as an experiment? It sounds like a good alternative, but as Peter stated... you just never know.

Hell, I'll go for it..... I'll buy 20 bags for the 240

20 bags x 20 lbs = 400lbs of sand

I think thats close to a 3.5" sand bed for $155.20

I need to check on the shipping though
