Hi,

I made the mistake of buying a non-photosynthetic (I think) gorgonian. I've seen similar things grown on some web sites and I thought I could keep this one.

It's in the shade in the corner of my tank.

For about the last month and a half I have been target feeding a combination of Marine Snow from Two Little Fishies and Brine shrimp Direct's GP Reef and Larval Fish Diet (100 - 200 micron particle size) about twice a day. I think most people agree that Cyclopeeze is too large, although I feed my tank a pinch of that every day.

The number of polyps is decreasing. I need help.

Can anybody identify this species?
What should I feed it?

Jack

it's a blueberry gorgonia. next to no info, at least that i could find anywhere. the info that was there was a warning not to purchase this specimen, as they have never been successfully kept. mine has held up well and not lost polyps yet (2 months), but it's probably only a matter of time
