Good Filters?

my canister filter just died on me, it was an Eheim Professional 2200, i guess the internal pump broke and does not suck in any water, i want to replace it but im low on funds, and filter you guys recommend buy? my friend recomnd this one https://www.petsolutions.com/AquaClear-110-Power-Filter+I15510620+C19.aspx but i would rather hear what you guys have to say on this one, i have a 72 gallon and that was the only thing i have running for filtration. thanks

Really. I've never heard of an Eheim filter giving up the ghost. Any chance it's clogged or the ceramic rod got broken? I've got so much neglected Eheim equipment that has been trouble free for years and years.
