Does anyone have any good recommendations for a RO/DI system? We need something that does between 60 and 100 gpd.

Thanks,
Dee

www.buckeyefieldsupply.com (http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com) is commonly used here. I know there was another thread about this as of recent,, and alot of people were talking about much cheaper systems.

They sell the RO model RD-102/106 on ebay. I have them. They have very good rating for water quality on Reefcentral and cheap also.
I tested my water from the RO unit once every month, it's at 0 ppm on an expensive TDS meter.

I hightly recommend this. I have the RD-106, (have drinking water option that I don't use, by Ozaka), but
for aquarium, an RD-102 model is all you need.

Dee,
I've used, and had excellent results with, the Typhoon 5-Stage and the Dual Home Reef from http://www.airwaterice.com

I have a group order arrangement with Buckeye Field Supply, who is a Sponsor for a 100 g set-up for just under $200 + 10% off. This comes with your choice of hook-ups and a hand-held TDS meter. I believe there are a few other people looking to get one and all we need is 5 to get this order moving. LMK.

Also, do not purchase the eBay ones...I know from experience.

I have had the RD-106 and would not recommend this machine. I have since gotten the Value RO/DI machine from BFS and have been extremely happy.

Thanks for the input...keep posting if you've had excellent experience with some. I'm going to look into the ones already listed and show my husband tonight.

Hey dena hows it going. We just ordered a 175 gpd from purelyh2o.com for $155 after shipping. This includes a flush kit. I should receive it on saturday so I am not sure about the performance. Its the v- series. has anyone used this unit before?

The problem is that my husband doesn't like to wait for things to be shipped LOL. He wanted to check locally, but so far no luck. When he wants something...he wants it NOW! It's a bad habit of both of ours...guess that's why we are always worrying about money.

Thanks for posting this Steve. Just so no one is confused, we are offerring 10% off on a group buy of 5 systems or more. The systems, as typically outfitted, are priced down around $160. You can add bells/whistles to your heart's content, and get 10% off the system.
