well i took a look at my live rock today and there was something new. i've never noticed it before. anyone know what this is so that i can start researching on it?

Hard to say. Poor pic quality. Try to take pics and up the pixels if you have that option. May get more help then.

the coral is actually really small. so I had to zoom in. so its really hard to get a good picture. I will upload the full picture when I get home on my computer, but unforunetly I can get a much beter pic

ok here are some other pics, this is really the best i can do for now, the coral is pretty small. the only thing i can say that you might not be able to see in the pics is that it's encrusted on one of my live rock. i have about 3 or 4 circles of them. they arent connected yet. also they have little tiny polyps in the center. they look like little miniature green stars. when they get startled they retract and it looks like just a plain green rock, the surface looks smooth almost. hopefully these pictures might be of better help, if not then i guess i will have to wait until it gets bigger.

has the appearance of Galaxia, but i don't think that is it

Doesnt look like an sps to me, the polyps appear to be pretty big. I could be wrong though.
