Helios Bulbs

Spoke with the owner of Marine madness and he said we could get a group discount on Helios 20K bulbs. If we order 5 or more bulbs we could get them for $39. I need 2 so that leaves 3 anybody interested??

The price is for all wattage of bulbs. He recommended we order ASAP as they are selling quickly. So we'll shoot for next week sometime. I will call and see if he can hold a few for us. So far we are up to 5-400W and 2-250W. Bill I will inquire about the reflectors. I would like paypal or cash up front before ordering since I am already strecthing myself thin with the other Group order.

Thanks, Anthony. If he wants a CC#, I can give it to him - we just spent a bunch of $$ last month on medical stuff, and since we pay off the CC bill each month, she wants to wait for the next cycle. Just talked to Mamma, and she says next Monday will work.

I spoke to Cuong today, and he said the items were being shipped today. I will check my work email tomorrow for the tracking number. He said they will be coming ground and should arrive by mon or tues at the latest. I will keep you guys posted.

OK sorry for all the hiccups guys, but I looked on the tracking page and it appears the shipment will arrive Wednesday instead of Monday. Not exactly sure of the delays, but they are on route. They will be shipped to me at my place in Austin.

Guys these bulbs to me look great!!! A very nice shade of blue , but not too blue,even with no actinic supplement. I wonder what they'll look like burnt in??

Photos??? I have actinic supplements - are you saying I might not need them?

I will try and get some good ones today. When I first installed them they were a nice blue shade. I unplugged the actinics and noticed no difference. On my reeflux I could definitely tell the difference. The blue actually intensified a little more the next day. So far no i'll effects on the sps. My actinics are only on for 3 hrs now. 1.5hrs before the halides come on and 1.5 before they come off.

Many of the coral propogators use this bulb. Fragfarmer does, and he says he gets great growth AND color from them. He says it's "everyone's" favorite in the business - he likes them better than Radiums.

These bulbs haven't even burn't in yet and that blue is with only 2 days of use. I think I found my new bulbs!!!!
