How long 'till signs of life?

So I got the LR in the tank a couple days ago...how long does it usually take to see signs of life...i.e. pods and worms and such? I know it's early...but I'm so anxious to see something.

If you want to see pods and worms and such, just sneak up on your tank in the middle of the night. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how much is there. Most of it will dissappear immediately if movement or light is detected. Use a small flashlight of some kind and look into the crevices. Pod's eyes will glow in the light.

Be patient, in time you'll see more and different things coming out at different times.

If you really can't wait here is a cheap alternative to a flashlight that really works.
Don't ask me how I know this.
Plus you will have unlimited viewing, w/o frightening the little critters. the darts are just for pre-tending you're the next Steve Erwin. Or you can pretend your in the new "Jaws" 6.

or just wrap some red celophane around an old flashlight ("NO LED" bulbs)

Honestly wait a few months before expecting to much. Give the tank a chance to mature and you'll be better for it in the long run.

Yeah, I found myself trying to sneek up on them late last night and early this morning with no joy. I started getting disappointed, but then realized I was acting crazy. I look forward to some signs of life though.

A lot of debris came off of the rocks and has settled on the substrate. I know I shouldn't do any water changes before the cycle is complete...but I'm having a really hard time not vaccuuming it up.

I'll be ordering a couple Koralia 4's tomorrow. I'm trying to figure out what the best placement will be, considering how the rock work breaks up the flow.

Lots to do still...the least of which is to keep reading. Does any one have any suggested reading lists regarding getting schooled on the different types of corals and their lighting requirements?
