My long tenticle anemone has decided that he really likes my tank. he is huge and getting to be to big for the space i had for him since he is about 8 times as big as when i got him. i need to remove him from my tank. he has his foot on the glass under about 3 1/2 inches of sand i have no more room in my tank to move things away from him... any one have any ideas? :red_smile:

is it on the bottom of the tank? do you have access?? try and hold some ice against the glass and see if it lets go

I have heard of placing ice against the foot. Would placing a power head pointing towards the LTA iritate it enough to move?

I would do this in the morning if I was to try this.

okay i tried both. yes its foot is down on the glass. all i got was some blue fingers(from the ice). thanks tho.

You can try to gently scrape it's foot off of the glass using a credit card.

thankyou very much for your advice the anemone has been removed [i held ice on the glass while sraping it w/ a credit card] and is now for sale now.
